Paul encourages the believer to be strong in the Lord and the power of His might. How? Stay dressed. Keep your holy britches on. Wear the Whole Armor of God. It is God’s armor, our gift. This is the only way we will be able to stand against the schemes and tricks of the enemy. Ephesians 6:10-20
I will put on the whole armor of God and I will not take it off. I know that I am a believer and the armor of God protects me as I keep my eyes of Jesus. I am not fighting natural elements, but I am in a spirit fight. I must use spiritual weapons in this fight. I guard my heart and I guard my mouth. I keep my heart yielded to God and I keep my mouth speaking the word of God. I use the weapons of my warfare to remain victorious. I am already victorious because of the shed blood of Jesus, a victory won at Calvary. I know that my Redeemer lives therefore I am alive in Him. I am filled with the power of The Holy Spirit and I go forth on purpose. Today, I will stay dressed. I won’t go in and out but I will stand firmly planted like a tree by the rivers of water. I will stand. I won’t be moved because I am dressed in the Lord’s armor. I will continue to stay as I continue to pray and obey the word of God and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. I will walk in the light of God’s word and His ways on purpose today and every day. I am dressed and I will remain dressed and ready to war a good warfare. In Jesus Name. Amen.
Armor- the metal coverings formerly worn by soldiers or warriors to protect the body in battle. Believers wear the whole armor.
Fight- to take part in a violent struggle involving the exchange of physical blows or the use of weapons. Believers fight the good fight.
Forward March!! The command given to soldiers as they advance on the enemy. We are to go forward, not backward. Why? Because the armor of God doesn’t make provision for our backs but covers us as we go forth. We are to stay dressed. The victory is already won, but we must continue to go forth. Keep praying!! Keep obeying!! Keep staying!! Go forth today in Jesus Name. Remember, the battle is not yours, it is the Lord’s. So, make sure you are wearing HIS Armor today. Angels All Around You!!
