Worship With Your Life of Prayer

Click here to listen to the Fourth Watch message from July 17, 2020.

God said let there be light, light came forth. Genesis 1:3

I want to be faithful to the Lord. I will govern my heart as to how I behave. I will be faithful because God is faithful to me. Psalm 101:1-8

I want my life to display all of Him.  I need God to create in me a clean heart. I want His Spirit to never leave me. I must worship Him with my life. Prayer keeps me grounded. Psalm 51:5-13

I want God’s priority to be my priority. His kingdom come is His priority, therefore, His kingdom come must be my priority.  His will be done on earth must be my cry as well. The priority must be that His kingdom come in me and His will be done in me. I have His Spirit in my vessel. I must yield my vessel first for His will to be done.  Now that I have become His vessel, my life of prayer is a worship to Him. Matthew 6:102 Corinthians 4:6-7

Jesus promised that the power of The Holy Spirit would come and empower us. When this happens, we become witnesses of Him. Pentecost brought the new way. The way of The Spirit. Now, we can be witnesses of His deliverance in us and we can lead others to Him. Sinners will be converted to Him because I am now converted.  My transformed prayer life is on display. Acts 1:8Psalm 51:13

My lifestyle worship now includes building myself up on my holy faith. I demonstrate this through prayer. I pray in the Holy Spirit. I am stayed in the love of God. Jude 1:20-21

I am an heir of God, a joint heir with Christ Jesus. I am seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, far above principalities and powers.  I stand firmly on the word of God by faith. I present my body a living sacrifice unto God, holy and acceptable unto Him. I declare that I will worship The Lord with my life. My life is a life of prayer. I am in constant communion with heaven by the power of The Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit leads me into all truth and He is the Wisdom of God on the inside of me. I set myself to seek the Lord day and night. I remain in an attitude of repentance. I will not set anything before my eyes that is offensive to The Holy Spirit. I will walk within my house with a perfect heart because I have presented my body a Holy habitation for the Spirit of The Lord. I know that the light of God’s presence shines from me.  Just as God said, let there be light, I likewise say, let there be light by my lifestyle as a worship to the True and Living God.  I say that I have God’s priority as my priority. God’s priority is that His Kingdom come and that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Therefore, God’s priority is now my priority. I want to see God’s Kingdom come. I want God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. It must begin with me. I must display the light of His glory in my earthen vessel. The treasure of God, His Holy Spirit lives in me and is displayed in my life of worship and my life of prayer. I choose to live for Christ Jesus and to yield to The Holy Spirit. I will worship with my life of prayer. I will pray without ceasing. Day and night, I will be found as a watchman on the wall in intercession. I stand in the gap between heaven and earth in prayer. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Lifestyle- the way in which a person or group of people lives.

Light- the natural agent that stimulates sight and makes things visible.

Priority- the fact or condition of being regarded or treated as more important.

Have you ever had someone ask you about your priorities?  Did you have to stop and think about it, or did it just fly off your tongue because it was right there? Well, the truth be told, your priority should be your lifestyle. What is most important to you should be evidenced in the way that you walk, by the words you speak, by your actions, as a matter of fact, it is your lifestyle. The way you choose to live. My priority, your priority will be evident. For a born-again believer in Jesus Christ, prayer should be a priority and should be evidenced by your lifestyle. I should look like who I really am. No one should have to ever play a guessing game with a believer. What we believe should not be hidden nor should it only show up when others like me are near. My life, your life, is a worship to God and is always on display. My prayer life in on display not because people hear me pray but because the evidences of a prayer life will be seen. There will be a peace and not a turmoil. There will be a joy even in the midst of sorrows. There will be assurance even when there is no evidence. A lifestyle of prayer is a worship to God. People will know who I love by the way I honor the one I say that I love.  It will show up. So today, know that your life’s is on display. Somebody sees you at all times. Here’s the question, what do they see? Pray! Obey! Stay!  Have a Jesus Filled Day!!
